Remember The Forum??

May 16th, 2009

IntelliBible.com has been online for a few weeks now and a lot of people have joined the mailing list. Thank you.

But the forum is getting ignored. The forum was set up so we could all help each other and exchange ideas and discoveries. It’s a great place to ask each other questions and get answers. Right now there aren’t many people registered.

Do yourself, and me, a favor and click on the forum tab at the top of the screen and join up. And most importantly, get involved. We should be able to get some pretty active discussions going, if the Sunday class that some of you are in is any indication.

Thank you for your support,

Randy

Welcome to IntelliBible.com

April 10th, 2009

IntelliBible.com was not created to be like other Christian web sites. The details of why I created it are all laid out in the ABOUT page, so I won't rehash it all here. I will say, though, that the idea to put it on the web came out of an adult class I lead each Sunday at the Yreka Church of the Nazarene, or YNAZ for short. I personally do not speak for the Church of the Nazarene. The views, opinions and discussions in these blog posts are mine. I wound up at YNAZ because of the incredible group of people there and an amazing down to earth pastor. You can find their site at www.ynaz.com.

As for IntelliBible.com, I will be posting lessons from the class I lead and any other points I feel are of interest. I have a deep love for Bible prophesies, especially concerning the last days of planet Earth and how it relates to today’s world. From time to time, I’ll look at current events in the world and compare them to prophecies outlined in the Bible. I will, as much as possible, make an effort to divide my opinions and impressions from what is scriptural fact.

I will also illustrate some of the reasons I found that forced me to conclude that the Bible is absolutely true and undeniable. This will include studies into the history of how the text was maintained and clues both in and under the written text that could not have been altered without being obvious. I’ll also look at “contradictions” that people point to in order to cast doubt on the Bible’s validity.

I want to state, right up front, that I don’t even pretend to have all the answers. To set myself up as some kind of “Bible Answerman” would be an arrogant display of pride best to be avoided. There is also a forum attached to this site. I invite everyone to join in the discussions. Ask your questions, air your doubts or point others to answers. Be sure to check out the guidelines first.

I expect this to be a great learning experience for everyone….especially, me. So, welcome to IntelliBible.com.
